The Women’s Health Network is supported by a 30-person strong Steering Committee representing all four College Faculties. We have six Co-Leads and 14 Research Theme Leads (1-2 per Theme), which, together with other students and staff, make up the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee meets on a monthly basis to discuss plans for the Network.

The Network is further governed by an Advisory Board, with representation split equally between community representatives, internal staff and external partners.

The Bridge is a women’s health engagement group that was co-founded in 2021 by Alison Perry (Research Midwife and PhD Candidate, Imperial College London), Stephanie Williams (Northwest London resident and women’s health advocate) and Fardowsa Sharif (Northwest London resident and social prescriber) (pictured) and which now includes 10 core members with a shared interest in women’s health and a connection to the White City area in London.

The Bridge seeks to positively influence the direction of women’s health and health research at Imperial College through meaningful engagement with researchers and their role as advisors to the Women’s Health Network of Excellence.

The Bridge holds three seats on the Women’s Health Network Advisory Board.
